Living Legends Jam At The 110Th Annual NAMM Show

The NAMM Show, one of the largest music products trade shows in the world hosted by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM), presented the 'Living Legends Jam' in Anaheim, CA on Friday January 20Th at the Anaheim,CA Convention Center. This CNN Ireporter was privileged to attend this awesome concert!

We loved the variety of artists from several genres that were featured on the Main Lobby Stage, there was music for all ages and tastes from the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's.

Tony Coleman, the famous drummer who has played for BB King and many other greats, did a nice tribute to the legend Etta James, who left us on this day Friday.

Some of my favorite performances with featured clips here were: Bob Berryhill of the Safaris (WipeOut/Surfer Joe), Dennis Tufano of The Buckinghams (Don't You Care/Mercy Mercy Mercy), Greg Walker of Santana (Black Magic Woman/She's Not There), and a great version of the Impression's People Get Ready (One of my all time faves, sorry the artist name got by me who performed it tonight).

Also featured in this report is Koko Powell of The Spencer Davis Group, Teddy Zig Zag of Alice Cooper and Guns & Roses, and Scott Warren of Dio.

NAMM really puts on an excellent show and convention, we are looking forward to covering this event next year! The NAMM show is not open to the general public, only to the music industry professionals/manufactures/retailers and their invited guests/press.

Up next for CNN Ireport and NAMM: The Roland V Drums World Championships at the House of Blues at Disneywalk!
