Remembering Joe Paterno |
Mourners in zigzag
- elchueco, CNN iReport producer
I am a Penn State freshman. This afternoon began at 1:00p.m.,the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center, the biggest religious congregation and exhibition hub, opened for the first public viewing of Joe Paterno, the legendary icon of football coach at Penn State.People lined up in the early morning, and at the time when the viewing began, there were roughly 1000-1500 visitors, mixed with alums, current students, staffs and community residents, remained in the queue waiting to visit JoePa's body.Department of Police set up the fences outside the main gate of the venue.By the time I took this photo, the line behind me exceeded 1 mile which extended to our school old creamery. This is the photo of mourners waiting in zigzag.
