Rwanda- The Bread Basket of Africa

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     'I visited Rwanda [in 2010] to search, document, and photograph the endangered mountain gorillas as part of a project that I am pushing to protect the gorillas and help the local communities which benefit from tourism. I spent 10 days in Rwanda and visited a number of villages and orphanages as well,' says konacraig, from Mission Viejo, California. 'My favorite part of the trip was having a 400 pound mountain gorilla approach, look me over, pause, wonder what I was doing in the jungle, then depart.'
    - elchueco, CNN iReport producer

Endangered Mountain Gorillas, Golden Monkeys, fields of grain and bananas surrounded by friendly and beautiful people can not adequately describe the feeling one gets when they visit Rwanda. Devastated by genocide, the country is back and welcomes everyone to experience the country. I would recommend Rwanda as a must see country in Africa.
