    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     mugur shot these pictures on January 26 of Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc paying a late-night visit to snowed-in road workers on the outskirts of Bucharest. He says that Boc's popularity has plunged after recent protests, and that the Prime Minister's image is tainted by his proximity to allegedly corrupt figures in the Romanian government.

    Romanian prime minister Emil Boc visits the outskirts of Bucharest close to midnight on January 26, 2011. Heavy snow storms paralyzed southern and eastern Romania, many drivers being trapped and having to spend the night in their cars, after authorities intervened late to clear the roads leading to the Romanian capital.
