CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Last week, the town of Glina, Romania, experienced continued snowfall for several days. The snow presented quite a challenge for animal rescue shelters ROBI, and A Second Chance. iReporter mugur says the shelters provide housing for around 300 dogs. 'Their main objectives is to care for them while waiting to be adopted. Unfortunately the number of adoptions is overwhelmed by the number of new entries. While they care for 300 dogs, other tens of thousands are scattered throughout Bucharest,' he says.

On Saturday, January 28, volunteers answered the call to help clear the snow in and around the shelter. 'I wanted to document the efforts to clear the snow from the cages,' mugur says. He adds that it's not too late for those interested to help with the cleanup efforts.
