America: Dreams Imagined and Dreams Fulfilled

While the world is watching us carefully pick our next president and most of America is struggling to recover from the economic downturn, no one has really asked how the kids see all of this turmoil. What do the kids think of all the debates and the constant bad news. After all, the kids are our future, so what is brewing in their minds these days as we are about to pick our next president. What is evident from watching one local school and the kids in it is that the kids are safe and happy. As long as kids keep having dreams to go after, and staying away from all the negativity of the news, kids will be just fine. Just take this girl, Jules Berte, who went after her dream of singing her idol's favorite song at her elementary school's talent show and knocked it out of the park. After all isn't this what America is all about? Not all the petty fighting at the debates, not the latest polls, or economic figures. America is this little girl singing her heart out on stage following her dream with no care in the world because she's got the whole community backing her up because they know that she went for what she believed in and she delivered! Next time you see kids going for their dreams, just like Jules, remember what it's all about!
