I am a grateful Mom and Grandma
I am Terry Sweeten. I currently live in Fort Smith AR. I have one daughter Shellie and 3 beauties, my grand daughters; Sara, 14, Sadie, 12 and Suzy 10. God has blessed me with these angels to have the opportunity to know. All are talented, smart and athletic. They work very hard to be strong. It has been a very tough year for them since August. Their Nana (Elizabeth Seymour and their Aunt Sherrie were tragically killed in an automobile accident that could have and should have been prevented. A man in Madill OK stole a Cadillac Escalade in August 2011and law enforcement followed him and at the speed of 120 miles per hour they were hit by the thief. This was on a 2 lane Highway 70 in Oklahoma with what I have been told was 6 law enforcement cars chasing and no one blocking oncoming traffic. The man who stole the Escalade hit them and it sheared off a large part the side of the Surburban they were in. My grandchildren lost their Nana and Aunt and the man in the Escalade passed away as well...My daughter and 3 beautiful grand daughters have endured quite a lot and so far my grandchildren are all still doing okay. They are active in school activities and church and functional well socially. Their Nana and Papa have played a big role in their lives as they live in Broken Bow OK where my daughter and her now ex-husband live. Sara the oldest has taken the lead as the oldest sister and behaved wise beyond her years in most cases. She is a typical teenager but she is a good role model for her sisters and the other two are right behind her in those types of behaviors. There is a lot more to this story but the main thing is just look at my beautiful family and they are as beautiful on the inside as on the out. They are very loved by their friends and have many. They are everything that any Grandmother or Mother would want in a family. My daughter has struggled with drugs but she has picked herself up with a hand up and is taking care of the girls and being a good Mom. I love them with my whole heart and I am so very blessed to have the opportunity to be their Mom and Grandma. Nothing in my life feels more right than this blessing of angels.....I got 4 real beauties......I feel like the luckiest person in the world....
