    The chance to open North Korea

    I ‘m from South Korea who was doing the military service in the army at the time of Kim jung il's death last year. Before he died, there was high tension between South and North Korea because of incidents such as the Cheonan warship sinking and the North’s shelling of Yeonpyeong Island. For these reasons, South Korean soldiers tried our best every day to make the country safe. However, when I heard the news that Kim jung-ill died, I thought It could be the chance to change North Korea. Because Kim Jung Eun’s authority is not stable now, North Korean can try to make their country open easier than before. For this, I think not only South Korea but also many countries like China, Japan, the United States and Russia should have an interest on this and give some chances to open North Korea. Honestly, I don’t know exactly about diplomacy. But I know that Koreans want to see reunification of our country. If we live in a unified Korea, we would no longer worry about defensing our boarder line between North and South, we would no longer be sad because of our separated families.
    So, I wish that this situation will be the chance for my country’s reunification.
