NIGERIANS UPHOLD JUSTICE...
WE HOPE ON DAY GEN IBRAHIM GBADAMOSI BABANGIDA WILL BE CALLED FOR TRIAL AND FACE JUSTICE
HOPE ALIVE .....JUNE 12 ,,,, M.K.O
Former Chief Security Officer (CSO) to the late Head of State, Gen.Sani Abacha, Major Hamzat Al-Mustapha and former protocol officer to MKO Abiola, Lateef Shofolahan, have been sentenced to death by hanging by a Lagos High Court sitting in Igbosere after 12 years of trial for the June 4, 1996 murder of Alhaja Kudirat Abiola, wife of Chief MKO Abiola.
The trial judge, Justice Mojisola Dada handed down the verdict after comprehensively reviewing the evidence adduced by both parties which lasted for seven hours and convicted them of conspiracy and murder in accordance with the provisions of Section 219 of the Criminal Code of the Laws of Lagos State.
The judgement is not eye for an eye... where is the statement when Ken -saro wiwa was hanged, where is the rule of law when Rwani was assassinated and killing of Alhaja Kudirdat Abiola.... Plz lets stop these sentiment and uphold justice, I wish the ogoni chieftains can say mercy too or the family of those that have lost their breed winners.......There is no pity for murderer , judgement as being served ; we are watching what will be the outcome of the appeal court. some of us are not accident of history .........facts and evidence lingers within us, in Nigeria truth is always painted green and eventuality becomes a reactionary object. shed no tears , the man Mustaphal understands his actions ' he that kill by the sword dies by the sword . More judgement is coming . Some of us are awaiting the treat of Boko Haram . I hope the guy will be hang soon.
If within a twinkle of an eye ,you witness your family being shot and murdered in a cold blood or on your way home you find your family being gun-down and their bodies burnt to ashes, may be many statement of mercy or eye for an eye would have being different.........Do you know how many young majors and lieutenant colonels that died in the hands of this man,At the appropriate time those that escape assassinations will speak.Prof 'Wole Soyinka escaped assassination with a stroke of luck . coward dies many times while an on looker is always confused but a man of honour leave with legacy .....
Justice is crying , who will calm her with truth , who will reclaim her lost life for her , is there anybody with blood and soul ? if then we fail to allow justice to rain what are we reclaiming ?Nigerians !!! when we avert corrective actions today , it turn to be the hoax of tomorrow and future .......thats why we are entangled with Boko haram , Egbesu , OPC and MOSSOP. whatever role you play today will be judged
