Princess Diana's Memorial Walk and Pond
While in London (Summer 2010) we visited Kensington Park to take a break from sightseeing. Imagine our surprise when we came upon Princess Diana’s Memorial walk and pond in the park.
The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Walk is said to be a seven mile long walk that winds through four parks. From along the path one can see many of the palaces (like Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace) and some mansions (like Spencer House) where Diana lived and worked. Though we did not have time to meander through the entire length of the Memorial walk, we took some time to remember the princess and enjoy the ambience of the pond.
