This iReport is part of an assignment:
Severe weather |
They don't have to drive to work in a snow storm
They don't have to drive to work in a snow storm.
There are thousands of computer workers who don't brave a snow storm that causes thousands of car crashes just to turn on their computers. They turn on their computers at home and get the job done.
If you're a computer worker, the next time there's a snow storm during rush hour, call your boss and say you're doing your computer work from home today to insure you'll be able to show up at the office tomorrow and all the next days.
The crash stats in this video are from the National Research Council study: 'WHERE THE WEATHER MEETS THE ROAD'. The stats reflect only snow storm crashes during commuter rush hours.
