    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     sandrocap shot these photos this morning of heavy snowfall and ice in the town of Frascati, in central Italy. 'New snowfals are expected in the coming hours. [Sunday] and Monday, public offices and schools will be closed to prevent the situation getting worse,' he said. 'As throughout Europe, the weather situation in Italy is highly critical, especially in the centre-south.'

    Just like exactly 2 years ago, (it was feb. 12, 2010) heavy snowfalls are creating discomfort in the capital and its suburbs. In the pictures, some images from Frascati (Rome). Railways are stopped and streets are traversed by few cars and few pedestrians
