Footprints in the snow
Cold spell in The Netherlands. In a large part of the country snow has fallen and canals and lakes start to change into icy surfaces.
Waterbirds that normally live in those canals must find their food somewhere else. This picture was taken from a bridge in the city of Vlissingen. The footprint of the goose is easily recognizable. The tripod is the footprint of a coot.
