Loss Of U.S. & European Jobs To China Now a National Security Issue
What does China do with all the money they now have by manufacturing what we and Europe used to make? They build weapons, they buy vital resources, they veto any U.N. proposal that would affect their interests in Syria rather than acting in a humanitarian way. Do they give their people a better way of life with all that cash?
The previous U.S. administrations allowed American jobs and manufacturing fascilities to be outsourced to China's slave labor colony because it meant that corporations could make massive profits on the savings they got on cheap labor.
The U.S. and European leaders saw this as an opportunity for China to become a democracy by introducing them to free enterprise.
The problems caused by incorporating a billion and a half workers into the World's economy didn't seem to occur to our leaders who saw this as an expedient way to open another market.
Chinese leaders saw it differently. They were being asked to allow Western manufacturers to build and exploit the cheap labor in China. They saw it as an opportunity to make a lot of money. So what if Chinese people worked for low wages...America wanted low prices. No health care? So what...
Now, America and European economies are suffering from the massive job and manufacturing losses. Our leaders see the arrangement differently now.
With an increase in China's military spending, Western democracies are finally realizing who wrote the book, "The Art of War". No one beats someone at their own game.
"Use your enemy's strength against them". Our economic strength was our jobs and manufacturing. Now China has both.
Manufacturers are bringing jobs home from China. Jobs are slowly returning. Companies say that costs in China have gone up so it's now feasible to bring the jobs home.
Since the GOP's attack on wages and unions, is this any wonder? But there's more to this story than it appears. Are we on the threshold of a war with China? Is that the reason we're cutting off their oil supply with sanctions on Iran?
Are you worried about a Nuclear Iran? I'm not. When you look back in history at the coup that our CIA caused in 1953, the United States has much to answer for in this ongoing conflict.
How is Israel threatened by Iranian nukes? Do you really think Iran would use a nuclear weapon on Israel? There technology doesn't easily fit into a suitcase. The Iranian people aren't suicidal.
There's much more to this story. We need honesty. Our government is again spinning what appears to be the beginnings of another war. What about you? Are you afraid of a nuclear Iran when Israel has hundreds of nukes and so do we?
What do you think of this story?
