    Cake batter rice krispy treats

    I'm always looking for variations on rice krispy treats, so I was intrigued when I saw a "pin" using cake batter. The recipe was easy enough, but I don't think the cake mix added much to the flavor, and on the downside, I was left with half a bag of unused cake mix. I even tried to make cake mix cookies, as was suggested by the blogger, but those were nothing to write home about. I did like the addition of sprinkles, which made the treats super crunchy.
