    International Pizza Day

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     thepizzaman owns Angelina's Pizzeria in Cambridge, Vermont, and made this thin-crust pie with the colors of the Italian flag. He plans to eat it for lunch today, International Pizza Day (see iReporter seeitnow's tribute to the holiday here.) thepizzaman's a big New England Patriots fan, but concedes that the New York Giants deserved to win the Super Bowl.

    Today is International pizza Day. I made this New York style pizza to celebrate the occasion. I also made this pizza to pay tribute to the New York Giants who beat the New England Patriots Sunday in Super Bowl XLVI. I am a Patriots fan but the Giants played a better game and won. This pizza was made at my pizza shop Angelina’s Restaurant in Cambridge, Vermont. I topped this pizza with mozzarella, broccoli, and pepperoni. Pepperoni is the most requested topping in the United states. Happy International Pizza Day.
