    Disney’s Snow Sculpture Wows the Crowds (Video)

     

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     AllanCook has lived in Japan for 10 years and he finally made it to the annual Snow Festival in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. 'Every year artists use that snow and ice to carve the most amazing things. In the photos you can see the biggest of the sculptures which are Mickey, sea-creatures, The National Palace Museum (Taiwan), Taj Mahal, Tsuruga Castle (Fukushima), and One Piece (Japanese Pirate Manga),' he said.

    A huge snow sculpture towers above the crowds and is a popular favourite among children at the Annual Snow Festival in Sapporo, Hokkaido.
    Each night of the 7 day festival, the 63rd of its kind, the ice spectacle comes alight to the sounds of Disney to the delight of the eager crowds.
    Starting on Monday Febraury 6th the final showing of the ice sculptures and the last time to see Disneys light spectacular will be on Sunday February 12th.
