I discovered this place by accident with my husband on a trip to New Orleans, July 2011. We were looking for a place to eat and saw the menu in the window and went inside because the prices were really fair for seafood. It was heaven! My husband had their "crabcake pasta." He let me have a bite and I kept trying to steal more! It was so rich and creamy, just the right amount of seafood flavor to it. The crabcake was the best I have ever had. I didn't even know I liked crabcakes until this awesome New Orleans dish! Honestly we have tried to replicate this recipe at home and we haven't succeeded yet. It came with delicious bread to dip in the sauce. I ordered the fried shrimp which was also good! It was crunchy, fresh and juicy. AND we had fried oysters as an appetizer which I could have eaten a thousand of them. We left with out spending too much but satisfied full bellies. This little jewel also serves booze! 739 Conti on the corner of Conti and Bourbon! Highly recommended by a couple of foodies.
