My Brush With Whitney: One Of Those Days 2002
I had the pleasure of attending a free Whitney Houston concert in 2002.
The concert was part of Good Morning America's concert series. Houston performed on the Lincoln Center Plaza in New York City.
She sang songs from her 5th studio album "Just Whitney." While the album met with modest success it became Platinum.
During the performance Whitney's voice wasn't the powerhouse it had been. While she was able to get through her first song, during the second song she came across as tried and exhausted.
Diane Sawyer later interviewed her and Whitney was simply Whitney.
