    Chocolate Squares

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     alamelu, of Newfoundland, Canada, says although she knew about fair trade chocolate before, she had never bought any until this assignment. 'Fair trade products are not displayed alongside the rest of the group in shelves,' she says. After completing the assignment she is beginning to understand how small considerations can impact farmers the world over. '[It's] a heavenly intervention with the intent to get chocolate lovers of the world to think about the less fortunate who are involved in the cocoa production,' she says about the project.

Known simply as “7 cup sweet” or “7 cup cake”, this sweet preparation tastes delicious and is enjoyed equally by the young and old. In this version I have included cocoa powder to this recipe and it tastes even better.
The recipe needs the following ingredients.
    1 cup milk
    1 cup butter (unsalted)
1 cup chic-pea flour or gram flour
1 cup powdered almonds (Here I used half cup of almonds, quarter cup of shredded coconut, and quarter cup of cocoa powder).
    3 cups sugar
It adds up to seven cups.
Method: Stir all ingredients in a heavy skillet. Use low heat. When the mixture starts to leave the sides of the skillet, pour it out on to a greased plate and cut into squares or any other shape.
