    FUJI CHALLENGE 2008

This video marks the conclusion of the 2008 Fuji Challenge...the culmination of months of preparation and the following of over 115 donors! Climbing Mt. Fuji 4 times in 24 hours has never been completed before, standing as a new record. On September 1st, 2008, the Fuji Challenge was completed in 21 hours and 59 minutes. The Fuji Challenge tested the ability of five men, Doug Szwarc, Luke Nelson, Mike Raney, Justin Hoff, and Rob Lovern, to climb up and down Mt. Fuji 4 times in 24 hours. Four of the climbers are military servicemen, stationed overseas in Yokosuka, Japan, while the fifth, Luke Nelson, works for the military fitness program. Thanks to others generosity, $10,935 was raised for this event, to be given to the SC Guardian Ad Litem and Shunkou Gakuen Orphanage. Thank you! http://www.fujiclimb.com
