    - elchueco, CNN iReport producer

Not speaking for everyone in Detroit but I know for me in the 80's there was a lot of crime and a lot of negative of things that you were around almost automatically that could lead you into a negative path..I would cling to anything that would give me some type of inspiration/motivation because I didn't want to live what I was seeing...At my middle school the principal would play at 8:50am everyday two songs...Man in the mirror and Whitney Houston's Greatest Love of All...The Voice, The would stay in my head all day...It inspired me to right and I have been doing right to this day at age 35...It doesnt matter how she passed, all I know she was and always will be an inspiration and her drug condition will not be what I remember her by!!!RIP Whitney...We will always love you!!!
