    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     than1980 says people in Athens are taking to the streets to protest against the recent cuts to wages and other financial problems facing Greece. People of all ages are protesting and the police have started to use chemicals and tear gas in order to break up the demonstrations.

    Protesters were scattered by the police who used tons of chemicals and tear gas. Protesters of all ages, waited in larger area but did not leave.
