    A group of Iranian refugees in Turkey held a protest on the eve of the twenty-fifth day of Bahman (Victory month in Iran) to express sympathy and solidarity with Iranians inside the country and to support democracy movement, Saturday, February twenty-second (February eleventh ) with a group of activists from Syria.

     

    This protest was organized by a group of civil and political activists residing in Turkey, the Association for Solidarity with Asylum Seekers, Refugees Support Community activists and exiled Iranian opposition activists and held in Ankara on Tuesday afternoon.

     

    Syrian and Iranian protestors chanted against dictators in both countries and demanded establishment of democracy and human rights.

     

    A group of Syrian political activists and freedom fighters, who were joined Iranian protesters at the beginning, started shouting slogans in solidarity with Iranian for peace and democracy in both countries.

     

    Turkish-language news agencies also attended the event. The rally ended with a statement by the protesters.
