Kansas woman goes to Washington to fight rare diseases
When Cheryl Fields could not find employment after being a "diagnosed with a rare medical disease Trimethylaminuria (TMAU), she decided to promote awareness for the disease. She will be in Washington, DC, for National Rare Diseases Day, on February 29, 2012. She is fighting for her rights to be employed and for the rights of other patients who suffer from the disease.
