    Introducing the J-Lin Fade: Jeremy Lin Haircut

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     craigsvip06 says a lot of his Asian clients are starting to ask for haircuts like New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin, who's become an NBA sensation in just a few games. craigsvip06 says they've gotten so many requests that they named the cut the "JLin Fade." He's a huge Knicks fan and says he'd like to give Lin a hair cut one day. He also said that most of the customers requesting the hair cut didn't follow the NBA until Lin began his run.

    One of the most popular figures in sports now has made his haircut popular. Many clients are now requesting the "JLin Fade"  This term was coined by master barber and editor of Barbers Only Magazine, Craig Logan. Mr. Logan works at Craig's VIP Cuts in McDonough, Ga. and his former apprentice; Vinny "Barberino" McGill, cuts at Legend's Barber Shop in downtown Atlanta. They both have cut and received numerous requests for this popular style in the past 7 days. Each barber has estimated a 15% increase in their Asian clientele since Jeremy Lin began starting for the NY Knicks. Mr. Logan, who is a huge Knicks fan, hopes to eventually interview and cut Mr. Lin and members of his favorite team. Barbers Only Magazine (www.BarbersOnlyMagazine.com) is the premiere publication for barbershop culture and the "J-Lin Fade" will be the cover story of their next issue. This particular cut was done by Vinny Barberino.
