    Ultras Ahlawy march demanding justice for Portsaid victims

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     arasquare shot these photos of street protests in Cairo, Egypt, sparked by violence and rioting after a football match in Port Said earlier this month. 'Everyone expected an action against those behind [the Port Said] massacre, but unfortunately nothing has happened,' he said. 'People in Egypt think that the fact-finding committees are just formed to absorb the anger of the people and not lead into actions. Through the history of Egypt, many fact-finding committees were formed to investigate various incidents, and unfortunately all were useless and that's why most people don't have faith in such committees.'

    Ultras Ahlawy, Ahly club football fans, marched from Ahly club headquarters to the public prosecutor’s office, downtown Cairo, demanding justice for their brothers who were slain in Portsaid’s football massacre. At least 74 were reported dead and hundreds were injured in Portsaid’s football massacre. Thousands of supporters, revolutionaries and political activists joined the march. Ultras Ahlawy, revolutionary movements and families of victims hold the Supreme Council of Armed Forces and the ministry of interior responsible for the massacre. Demonstrators waved flags with pictures of victims on them.
