It's not really a double standard
I dont know if I would call it a double standard, but there is something to be said about having 5 children , 1 of which is an INFANT with special needs. Although mothers work more often than not, nowadays, the VP of our Country should have more time to devote to us instead of her children. If all of her children were older this would NOT be an issue, but having small children raises other flags. My real question to her would be "why dont you want to focus on your family?" She obviously has little concern for putting her family first. What are those values she keeps talking about? Because, honestly, I dont see any of them in her actions.
