    The Victory Kiss

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ChrisMorrow captured video of 50 couples kissing under the Unconditional Surrender statue modeled after the famous photo "V-J Day in Times Square" that shows a soldier kissing his lady at the end of WWII. The couples were there to bid farewell to the statue before it leaves San Diego, California, after its five-year visit. 'I loved seeing couples give a kiss goodbye to the beautiful statue. I was surprised there wasn't more military in uniform doing the kiss. All in all, it was beautiful and I will miss the iconic statue along the San Diego waterfront. Many times my husband and I would walk down to the statue and he would give me a kiss under it,' she said.

50 couples gathered for a kiss in front of a San Diego statue called "Unconditional Surrender". This statue is inspired by the famous kiss photo taken in Times Square at the end of the second World War.

The couples comemorated the 'Victory Kiss' with a photo before it leaves San Diego later this month after a long 5 year visit.
