This iReport is part of an assignment:
Sarah Palin's political future |
Sarah Palin
I don't see what all of the fuss is about. We are talking about electing Sarah Palin as VP not her daughter. Maybe she doesn't have the experience we generally look for in one of our top elected officials, but at least she isn't going to be the president, ie. Obama. He has almost as much experience as she does and he wants the BIG job? Also, I seem to recall a short 12 years ago when we as a country re-elected a man who lied, denied, and cheated, not just on his wife, but on his country as well. I was a mom right before my 18th birthday and as I was still a junior in high school. I am not any less of a person for it, as a matter of fact I am a STRONGER person for it. It took a lot for me to finish school, work and make a life with the man who was the father and only later my husband. This was a choice her daughter made, not her, and at least they all had the courage to keep the baby, raise the baby as a family and lets face it, not try to hide the issue from the country. I say congratulations to the Republicans for taking the high road this time and just putting it all out there on the line!
