Whitney Houston Funeral Part 2
On February 18 2012 took place funeral for Whitney Houston. Family and friends joined an invitation-only "home going" ceremony at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, N.J.
There was no public access around the church, which made even for locals harder to get around that day. They had to show ID in order to get to their own apartments in the area of the New Hope Baptist Church. Locals were not happy about that.
Press area was set up also farther from the church so in order to get any good footage and close up picture only those with big zoom lenses could get a job done. There was press from all over the world: American, Spanish,Italian, Polish and more.
The weather was beautiful that day in higher 40F. Groups of people were gathering on streets singing Whitney Houston’s songs, holding her pictures. There were groups of people watching the ceremony transmitted by TV on their portable devices.Suprisingly there were not too many people/fans around.
When the ceremony was over and the streets were cleared from the gates, people could get close to the church and put more flowers, pictures or balloons in memory of a big star.
