    He spit out a pearl after eating an oyster at Mardi Gras!!

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     robynbanxx1 and her boyfriend went to New Orleans for Mardi Gras this weekend. Although they wanted to party, they also wanted to eat authentic, New Orleans food. While eating fried oysters at Mother's Restaurant, her boyfriend took a bite and, after a few minutes of discomfort, spit out a tiny pearl! Despite finding a pearl, she raved about the trip. 'The food was amazing, the culture, everything. If you haven't been, I suggest you go at least once in your lifetime. Everything they say about New Orleans is true.'

    We spoke to Mother's Restaurant, who explained that every once in a while the oyster knife misses the pearl, leaving it in there to be found.

    We just got home from New Orleans Sunday night. My body is still tired but my belly is dying for more of those tasty little fried oysters! No lie, my boyfriend ate an oyster and spit out a tiny pearl!!
