    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     MelissaF told me, 'I'm already curbing my activities. Gas prices are on my radar and they are closing in fast. I hope Obama does something about it or I will be staying close to home this summer.'

    It was like a jab in the stomach last time I filled up my 2005 Honda Odyssey, which is great on gas. My summer plans are definitely going to change.
