    As a 40 year old woman who has struggled with acne since age 11, my skin is by far my biggest insecurity. The world judges you by your face and I have had days where I wanted no one to see me. At times I would even call in sick to work. I have tried every remedy known to man to clear up my face. Nothing has ever really worked. It's just something I must accept.

    On the other hand I love my eyes and my smile. If there is one thing I could say that I love about my body it would be my litheness. For 20 years I have been a fitness buff and I have the figure to prove it. Frankly, my obsession with exercise was the remedy to my skin problem. It was a beauty that I could be in charge of. I also love my body because it made and gave birth to my daughters.

    Beauty can be external and internal. I see beauty in others in their eyes, their smile, and their warmth. A truly beautiful person is one who makes others feel beautiful. True beauty is rooted in love and acceptance. Beauty is the physical embodiment of love.
