City official abuse of power in Laredo, Tx

This report is about fairness of the treatment of citizens when it comes to the legal process. I am a student at the local university here in Laredo, Tx. I was recently arrested at the beginning of February for possession of Marijuana, a very small amount .3 oz, and during the arrest was compliant and respectful to the officer my bond was set at $5000 by judge Hector Liendo. Recently on the 21st a local judges son was arrested a second time within a month for evading police no ID and open containers as well as speeding. However his bond was set at $750 by the same judge. The first time he was arrested was for a DUI and this event happened in January. Based on information i have obtained since he was arrested the second time with alcohol containers in the vehicle he should have at least spent some days in jail, had his first bond revoked, or at least had a higher bond than $750. The mother of the guy that got arrested is Judge Rosie Cuellar Castillo she is related to the Sheriff of the County Martin Cuellar and congressman Henry Cuellar and feel that they might have something to do with the very low bond set by Judge liendo. I brought my issue to the local nbc affiliate and they were very interested in the story and even interviewed me for a segment that was to air on last nights broadcast. However the general Manager of the station refused to air it because he claimed that judge liendo would not comment on the story because he was conveniently out of town. I also know for a fact that the Cuellars donate substantial ammounts of money to their station and feel that this may be a reason the general manager did not want to air the segment. I am hoping CNN can help me get the story out and get the situation looked into because i am being censored by the officials here in Laredo. Also if anything they should be making more of an example of a judges son instead of abusing their power and letting him out of jail.
