    Academy Award's Red Carpet Roll Out

     

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Pixel shot these photos in advance of the 84th Annual Academy Awards in Hollywood, California: 'There is so much to see; every corner filled with an activities to make everything perfect for the Academy Awards on Sunday. The men and women working to make this happen deserve an award of some type! The behind the scenes is an important part of an event that gets missed for all the glamour of the night.     On Monday, February 20th, "Oscar setup" officially began. Hollywood and Highland Center was bustling with tourists, and preparations for the biggest production of the year, the 84th Academy Awards, to be held on Sunday, February 26th.

    Hollywood's Kings and Queens of film will walk the Red Carpet, while the world awaits to see the celebrities' glamourous attire, and who will take take home an Oscar.

    It takes crews working round the clock to get everything in place for this regal event. Not a loose screw or lump in the renowned Red Carpet can be overlooked. It's an exciting week, with journalists traveling from around the world to cover all the activities during "Oscar setup" week and the 84th Academy Award's.
