This iReport is part of an assignment:
Sights and sounds of the DNC |
You Can't Fool Eveyone
I was in line at the grocery store this morning. The woman in front of me decided to start a conversation with the checker, who was in her fifties or thereabouts. The customer asked her what she thought about Sen. McCain's choice for his running mate. The checker answered with a somewhat concerned look on her face. She said that she always considered herself as a devoted Republican, but feels that John McCain has chosen to turn this election into an Obama/Palin race. She said that Barack Obama would probably have won with a landslide if he'd had Hillary as his vp pick, but didn't resort to such tactics. She said that she thinks McCain is playing games with the female voters and for the first time in her life she is voting for the Democrat. Hmmm. Go figure.
