How my church celebrated our Annual Black History month
This month we celebrated Annual Black history month with a theme "Looking Back at the Past ,,, Stepping in the future"each Sunday. A special program was presented by member's and guess such as famous black inventor, Poet's, composer, Praise dancers, Civil Rights leaders, black history artist articles placed in our hall ways our church entry ways to the chapel.
We also had a special guess speaker on our program from the Tuskegee airman Lt. Calvin j. Spann.
Our first Lady member's requested the church to dress in Afro-American customs attire:
We also served soul food as our way of saying thank you to the community who came out to share this wonder celebration.
