Politics 101: Voting for the Opposition in the Primary- JUST DO IT!

Is it wrong to vote for a candidate you do not believe in? Unequivocally NO!!!

If the Political climate calls for a "Lesser than Adequate" candidate to win in a primary-- "Just Do It!" (i.e. A Vote for Santorum guarantees a democratic victory). But given the circumstances... In our opinion, integrity says that neither candidate, Romney or Santorum, would be a good choice (both would be equally inadequate).

We are registered Democrats who have voted our entire adult lives. As members of the NAACP and other organizations that support "the betterment of mankind of any race," we have also supported candidates who have shown integrity, honesty and foresight in their actions, lives, communities and who care about all United States Citizens. We have worked on committees with Democrats and Republicans, who choose to work together for the "betterment of mankind." From what we have observed, in our opinion, we would not vote for Mr. Gingrich, Mr. Romney, Mr. Santorum or Mr. Paul... none of them! In our opinion, it is very possible that these gentlemens' words represent the worst "image" of the political system in our country. Their combined viewpoints might even cause the average person to question their rights as guaranteed under the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, their religion, women's rights, the rights of elderly people, the status of their children, Christian beliefs, labor union status, economic views, their organization affiliations, laws and values, and every other thing that our country guarantees :-) ! In other words, there are very few things that they have not openly quarreled about.  In our opinion, they frequently give inaccurate information and even air dirty laundry about each other to each other's detriment!

It is our opinion, that their own party should be embarassed about some of the messages that they are sending out about each other. Unfortunately, we do not believe that they realize how much they are influencing most people's opinions concerning money, religion, elitist views, world governments, race, medical care, the rights of women, and so many other things that have further divided our country. From an "outside viewpoint," it would appear that our country has the worst level of integrity, sincerity and Christian beliefs in the entire world judging from the actions of those within the Republican party. Wow! This is not a good thing. I do not believe that they realize how much Americans value their rights and liberty.

We can only pray that "God" will visit with each of these candidates at some point and teach them integrity, compassion, love for their fellow man, not MONEY and PRIDE and most of all love for "God Himself." It is our opinion, that these candidates have exhibited prejudice views and bought new meaning to the word "hatred," even within their own political party- which has even influenced and permeated  the views of our country. Further it is our opinion, that their negative campaigning might have influenced anger in children and adults, causing them to  act out in anger. We believe that they have stirred up a lot of anger in people by promoting their own agendas and set a poor example of the American public for many worldwide. Many people are wondering now "How Low Will Americans Go?" If what they are saying is actually true. If these candidates do indeed "Hate" each other as much as it would appear in the media (and are a part of the same Republican party), how can they "love" a diversified U.S.A. or respect the "World" residents as President of the United States?

I don't believe that these gentlemen even realize how much their views impact others. I have not personally watched their debates, etc., but I have listened on the go at some of the things they have said "publicly" ...and I prayed for each of them-- to have wisdom, knowledge and understanding based on God's word before they speak! While most Americans scramble to feed their children, keep a roof over their family's heads, pay the high price of living day-to-day, deal with high gas prices, teach their children honesty and integrity, watch their communities fill up with drugs, monitor their own medicine cabinets and work (if they even have a job)???? And most of these people drive a Ford Focus, not a Cadillac. Not sayin' just sayin'.... they live in the Real World- not Utopia! How can we say to our children "Love Ye One Another as "I" Have Loved You" and then send out a message of Hatred and Prejudice? Change is still needed-- and that change needs to continue in the White House.

    In Christ,
