On February 29, the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse gymnastic team volunteered to be photographed during their intramural meet. The team has won 15 NCAA Division 3 National Titles. Coach Barb Gibson brought the team together beforehand to give her one of her famous “pep talks.” She was recently selected the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women's Gymnastics All-Time Coach.

Two of her top champions leaped together on the balance beam. On the right, wearing a bright blue top, is Christa Booman of Spring Grove, Minnesota, the 2011 NCGA (National Collegiate Gynmastics Association) All Around Champion. On the left, wearing a red and black swirl top, is Morgan Shene from Kansas City, MO who won All-American honors with a 4th place finish the 2011 NCGA National Championship. In all, the team has turned out 15 years of championship “leapers.” Quite a feat-so to speak.
