Close Only Counts in Horseshoes, Grenades, and Elections
Rick Santorum wins 3 states and is on a surge considered a new possible front runner. Mitt Romney wins AZ handedly, MI in a close one, and WY as well. A lot of the media coverage has discounted his wins, stating it will not give him any momentum going into "Super Tuesday"
I have to say that the old addage "A win is a win" can apply to everyone else. Why not apply it to Romney?
If he would have lost by 3% to Santorum it would not have been a "close loss" it would have been a "grueling defeat"
I urge all professional journalists to truly get involved in covering the election with a level of objectivity. The pundits are not making an effort to do this in my opinion.
