    I was enlisted in the Air Force and I had been married for about 1 year at the time[about 14 years ago]. I came home from work and advised my wife that I had orders for a 2 year Korea tour in 6 months. I advised her that Korea is a remote tour and I can not take family. My wife had a surprised expression on her face. After a few minutes, I said, "April Fools." The whole joke backfired because she started crying and I felt like an idiot.
