    The End of the World

How will you spend your last day on earth?

It's pretty much a given that the world will end on December 21st of 2012, if your a believer of the interpretations of Mayan mysteries and apocalyptic scenarios. I believe it, kinda sorta. That said, I ain't takin' no chances. So I was sitting around thinkin' and I said to myself "self, how are you going to spend your last day on earth?"

Hmmmm. Well, first of all if the last day of everything living is December 21st of this year, then I should plan on making December 20th my last day of enjoyment before whatever happens, happens. So, first of all I hope it's a bright, sun shiny day. I'm taking the day off and I'm going to Waffle House for a big, steak and egg breakfast, then I'm going to do a two hour road trip in my car, out in the country, just to enjoy. Later in the day I'm going to watch my favorite movie, Elizabeth, then I'm going to the Crooked Hook and have a nice catfish dinner. Then I'll come back to my studio, sit at my easel, and paint, while I'm waiting for midnight to come. I want to have paint brush in hand when the rumbling starts.

Everything could start just after midnight or anytime in the twenty four hours that follow. Who knows? It's anyone's guess. So....how will you spend your last day?
