    Nuclear Protest in South Korea

    Samcheok, South Korea -- As Seoul, South Korea prepares to host the Seoul Nuclear Security Summit later this month, there is unrest in a town on the east coast. A number of residents of Geundeok, a village within the city of Samcheok, along with residents of Samcheok, and other nearby locations held a demonstration in protest of the building of a nuclear power plant in the village. The demonstration which was held in the village was followed by a parade of the demonstrators to a location near the selected location of the new plant.
