    BIG Earthquake Rattles Tokyo

    An M6.1 earthquake has just hit off the coast of the Chiba prefecture, adjacent to Tokyo, causing buildings to sway here.  This is the largest earthquake in the Kanto area for some time and is believed to be connected to last year’s mega-earthquake.

    As the earthquake hit my telephone siren started sounding as the room started to move beneath my feet.   Internet connection slowed as people attempted to find out information about the quake.
