Black People Think Wisely About Buying ProActiv

Well as you see America I’ve had acne over the years and it’s done a toll on my face, and left acne marks. So I see a new commercial about ProActiv New Dark Spot Corrector. ProActiv didn’t work for me the first time, but since it was a new product it caught my attention. So I get online and talk with a women who works for the company, and I remember asking her “Will this work for people with dark skin”, and she said “Yes”. So I get a little excited because I hate my acne marks. I ordered it and my mom warned me, but I wanted to give it a try. So I’m using it for some weeks and I don’t see any results. I tell myself maybe some more time will help, so I help using it. The chemicals smell really bad on my face, but I’m just hoping it would work. Still see no results, so then I read the back of the label again and then I see it. I got very angry when I saw the words, “this product may NOT be noticeable when used on very dark skin.” Now they tell ME!!! After the lady told me it would work on black people, it’s now telling me it doesn’t work for dark skin. Well ProActiv how am I suppose to know how dark I AM??? It’s not my fault that some of us black people play a lot of outdoor sports in the hot sun. The more we are outside the more our skin is probably going to get darker. ProActiv should not have even used a black person in the commercial, because we all have different levels of skin tone, and who knows what works for different black skin types. They should have said at the bottom of the commercial, “May not work for dark skin”. Now it probably will work for white people (nothing racist), but it most likely won’t work for black people, because how are we suppose to know how dark we are???!!! Again I’m one very unhappy consumer and hopefully I can save the next consumer from buying ProActiv. May God Bless America
