    We call this as "Habal-Habal".

    Its only in the Philippines. We called this "Habal-habal". A customized motorcycle which can carry up to 12 passengers.

     

    I took this photo last December 2011. It shows a father driving his family back home after a weekend getaway in a nearby beach in our town in Cantilan, Surigao del Sur, Philippines.

     

    This custom-built motorcycle is used commonly in remote areas in the hinterlands of Mindanao island. This can also carry a heavy load not just its passengers but several materials. "Habal-habal" has an extended seat which can accommodate more passengers in a row in both sides of the driver. 4 people can seat each in both sides, 3 at the back and 1 in front of the driver.
