My Trip to Senegal
I traveled to Senegal in February 2011 and June 2011 and absolutely fell in love with the country and the people.
I had to travel to Senegal on a business trip and I honestly had to look up where Senegal was on Google Maps because I had no clue. However, after both of my trips there it is by far my most favorite place I have ever been.
The people in Senegal are extremely friendly and they beam with pride when you tell them how much you enjoy their country.
Senegal is a predominately Muslim country which I found fascinating. I would wake up every morning to the sound of prayer and it was very soothing.
Goree Island is a must if traveling to Senegal and I recommend taking a motorscooter tour as that was the highlight of my trip!
