CNN PRODUCER NOTE     respier says he captured these photos while attending the "Million Hoodie March" at Union Square in New York City. The march was to remember the death of Trayvon Martin, while also protesting the circumstances surrounding his death. As a photographer and a participant in last night's demonstration, respier says there was a significant turnout by the crowd. The crowd was comprised of Occupy Wall Street protesters and other New Yorkers. During the march, Trayvon Martin's parents and New York City council members gave speeches. "One of the council members said 'we aren't asking for different rights, we are asking for the very same rights as everyone else,'" respire says. He also says the speeches were trying to point out the need for unity and the end of killing young black and Latino men.

Occupyers crowded the south end of Union Square Park Park this evening, in support of Justice for Trayvon Martin.

Mic Checks for 'We are 1.'  New York CIty Councilmembers Jamaane Williams and Ydanis Rodriguez led a chorus with, 'No Justice, No Peace!/Sin Justicia, No Hay Paz!'

Sabrina Fulton and Tracey Martin, Trayvon's parents, spoke -- she with a broken heart, he to aver that he will not rest until there is justice for Trayvon; that no parent should lose a child in this manner.

Afterwards, several thousand Occupyers marched west, then north, then south again to Washington Square Park.
