Occupy Reunites in New York's Union Square

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ShadyGroveO interviewed and photographed Occupy protesters at Union Square, NYC, last night. She says there have been more protesters in the park ever since the Trayvon Martin rally on Wednesday, and there's been an increased police presence. 'It really seemed like people were starting to pay attention to the group that was in Union Square. From spending time in Zuccotti Park, I saw some of the older protesters [from there] in Union Square,' she said.

Following police crackdowns on protesters in Union Square Wednesday night, the Occupy movement is gaining momentum once again in Lower Manhattan.

This week many new Occupiers joined a handful of last year's original OWS protesters who have moved from Zuccotti Park to Union Square-- a new hotspot for the activists.

Occupy is currently planning a month of action focusing on the environment which is set to begin this week and last until May Day.
